About me
I meet a lot of people through my work; however, they're never really right for me, or I just don't get the chance to get to know them - so I thought I'd give this a go and see what happens... People have described me as a typical music 'geek' (a term I don't like, but accept nevertheless). Another thing I have been called is a teddy-bear of rock! (Which I do quite like). Music is a huge passion of mine, hence the job I choose to do regardless of the pay. I'm intelligent, artistic, educated and open-minded, with a very dark sense of humour and dry wit. I'm often initially quite shy around some people, but that changes after a while. Anyway, if none of that bothers you, feel free to drop me a line - obviously I won't bite.

- Where I liveI'm currently dividing my time between Crewe (where I'm from) and Manchester, where I study.
- Where are you originally from?
- Do you want to stay there?Not sure if I'll stay in Manchester - it depends if there is anything to keep me there after I have left university.
- What is your occupation?Being a semi-professional student, attempting to gain a degree in contemporary music and recording at Salford. I generally make a living (although, not much of one) from playing in bands and teaching guitar and music theory.
- What have you done so far?
- Your perfect partnerIf we lived in an ideal world, this question would be easier to answer; but we don't, so I'm not going to bother attempting to. I will know when I meet her. Maybe somebody a little older than me.
Stuff I like
- What are you interests/hobbies?I'm fascinated by science, particularly evolutionary biology/natural history, and also philosophy - but have no time to study the subjects, so they remain just a fascination. Furthermore, many people find them boring. Other than that, the usual: reading, film and especially music.
- MusicI have a vast and diverse collection of music from jazz to heavy metal, the recent to the old and the more obsure. I'm very open-minded about music and listen to almost anything. If you're interested in what music I like, you're better off asking me, rather than me writing an exhaustive, pointless list.
- Your fav books/authorsAt the moment it'd have to be Finnegans Wake, if only because it's such a challenge to get through due to the nature of it's sentence structure - or the lack thereof.
- What sort of movies do you like?Again, too many to mention but my taste is quite eclectic. Just ask, and I will tell...
- Types of people you like?Within reason, I'll get along with anybody who can hold a good conversation, regardless of their personal views.
- What kind of people do you find attractive? Couldn't say - it all depends on the individual. I expect they'll have some sort of quirk that I like.
- DrinksI drink occasionally; it helps to get me through the gigs of which I know are going to just be appalling.
- Fav thingTwo guitars - both are very special to me and very old. I've had them for as long as I can remember and wouldn't feel comfortable working without either.
