About me
- Where I liveManchester. It's awesome. I love the bustle of the inner city and the relative calmness of the suburbs. Plenty of life and vibrance and some incredible football teams and heritage. What more could you need?
- Do you want to stay there?I do have a few bonds to Yorkshire and down South, but I do love Manchester. Mind you, I am up for moving elsewhere for the right reasons. It just depends on what they are.
- What is your occupation?I'm in retails, working the shopfloor. I have aspirations though, I'd like to do the whole 'working your way to the top' thing.
- What are your future plans?I don't really have any at the moment. The usual I suppose - find someone who can bear me, live with them, settle down and marry, have kids and die. I'm not after stars in the eyes and huge fortunes and butlers - I'm content to live life to the full, as I can. Preferably with someone who makes me happy.
- Your perfect partnerSomeone kind, romantic and caring, who wants to have fun and enjoy life. Commitment and trust are big things too. I'm not really too fussy to be honest, as long as we click and don't have to constantly engage in small talk.
Stuff I like
- What are you interests/hobbies?I'm really into astronomy and geology, but I enjoy reading up on all sorts of bits and bobs really. Hence me tending to buy more factual books than fiction ones. I also enjoy indulging in my creative side with songwriting and the odd sketches.
- MusicI'm into rock, pop, alternative and indie music. Examples are Coldplay, Darren Hayes, Electric Six, Muse, Oasis, Robbie Williams, Train and U2.
- Your fav tv seriesComedy, drama and some factual programs. This includes Doctor Who, Family Guy, Farscape, Lost, Top Gear and Torchwood.
- What sort of movies do you like?Comedy, horror and adventure movies. For example, 28 Days Later, Battle Royale, Castaway, Collateral, Spider Man and You've Got Mail.
- What kind of people do you find attractive? Someone fun and a little random, who is caring and giving, great to be with and to chat with about everything and anything. A person I can relate to and just spend lazy days with, not even having to say anything. A lady who is dedicated and trustworthy. Physically, I love brunettes, who are a little curvy, with brown or blue (or green) eyes.
- Fav thingPulling Monkey - my stuffed little monkey friend. He has a massive smile.
- What's your favourite radio station ?Key 103, XFM and Manchester Radio Online.
- What's your favourite tv station ?Dave! Plus FilmFour, Channel Four, Virgin One, Discovery Science... anything which has something decent on, really.
- What are your favourite activities?I enjoy shopping (surprise surprise), being creative with songwriting, poetry and the odd sketching, a bit of website design plus reading. Add onto that gaming, extreme walking, being a bit stupid and basically enjoying life and it's a nice sample of what I get up to.
My attitude
- Family lifeI'd love to get married one day, but it's not a major thing for me as long as I was with a person I was dedicated to. One day I'd love to have kids as well. I reckon the key to bliss is to be able to argue without getting angry - having jokes and not taking it too far. Plus being able to swallow your pride and say sorry once in a while.
- MoneyHappiness before money is the key. As long as I had enough to live and be comfortable, it would be fine.
