About me
Well, im a helicopter pilot within the british army and have been for 2 years. im a decent enough guy who would do anything for the people i love. i always put others before myself and consider myself to be a very easy person to get on with. Im basically looking for a relationship as there isnt much time for me to go out and find love with being in the army :-( lol i have found that girls that i have been with cant put up with my time away, so im hoping to find that special person. so...heres me, if anyone wants to chat feel free to send a message!

- Where I liveI live in cheadle in stockport near manchester at weekends but i live in my own house in wiltshire monday to friday because that is my main base, but i also own a appartment in london when i work there.

- What is your occupation?Im an apache assault helicopter pilot in the british army as a lieutenant (officer, hence the name :-) lol)
- What have you done so far?Was a student at manchester university, and was paid by the army to go, after studying for my a-levels at welbeck military college so i didnt have any other jobs (LAZY!!!) lol
- What are your future plans?I want to stay in the army for as long as i love my job, if i were to get fed up of it all, ill leave, i just take life at it comes. Though i do want to meet that special someone
- Your perfect partnermy perfect partner would be a girl who is completely selfless and can look past bad looks and look inside the heart and see them for who they actually are. she would be caring, considerate, sweet, cute, charming and she would have to like cuddles and the occassional night in to snuggle up together and watch a film. she would like pecks on the lips and would have the cutest smile =) basically im a big softy and i like soft girls!!! lol

- What are you interests/hobbies?my hobbies include my job, which is piloting (i love my job that much that its a hobby, is that weird??? lol) i do a lot of sky diving and bungee jumping. i also like taking a walk holding hands with a girl or having my arm around her, i think its quite cute and affectionate and a good way to talk. i do a lot of running and a lot of keep fit activities, especially rock climbing (i think ive got a love of heights!! lol)
- Musici guess im into any sort of music, ranging from r'n'b to rock. i love indie music, but also listen to dance. i have been to a lot of gigs and concerts, especially during my time in university. i can play the piano well and am always playing it during officers quarters parties!!! lol
- Your fav tv seriesfavourite tv series' include father ted, my family, prisonbreak, 24, scrubs and friends. there are plenty more, mainly comedy but theres too many to go through
- Your fav books/authorsmy favourite novel of all time has got to be lord of the rings!! i like stephen king novels and books by mark twain. harry potter is an obvious choice of amazing series of books, and books by mark brandon also appeal to me. i have an interest in some autobiographies however not pointless ones written by such people as katie price aka jordan, victoria beckham or jodie marsh, them autobiographies are just annoying, they havnt even experienced enough time in their lives to write anything interesting for an autobiography, apart from bad hair days!! im just babbling on now anyway so ill move on..... lol
- What sort of movies do you like?i like any sort of film, but comedy is by far the best sort of film for me. i think any film with will ferrell, ben stiller, owen wilson, vince vaughn and jennifer aniston is brilliant. i also like romantic films to watch and cuddle up to a girl with, i like action, gangster movies (only the old style of gangster movies ie the godfather), horrors etc. anything but western movies, they usually make me fall asleep lol
- What kind of people do you find attractive? The outer appearance doesnt matter much to me, its the person on the inside that counts though i do like a girl with a cute smile, slim, with brown hair and nice eyes (shes on this site =)...)
- Foodim not too much of a fussy eater, i just cant eat mushrooms, but i would eat anything that doesnt have them in. you dont get a choice of what to eat in the army so ive grown accustom to eating whatever is put in front of me basically. i normally go to italian restaurants, they can be so romantic and they make the nicest food!! i eat chinese occassionally. i tend to avoid mcdonalds and burger king, any fast food restaurant, though i have been known to eat a delhi sandwich or something in that area of food!! it just seems so unhealthy, i like my salads :-) i love to cook, especially italian. theres nothing better than preparing a candle lit dinner for a girl im with, especially if its italian, though give me a recipe and i could could cook it up, add a few other ingredients and make it taste better, im good like that :-) my partner doesnt have to be able to cook, i like to cook for my partner, its the 21st century now and i believe its being more of a gentleman to cook for a girl
- Drinksi drink occasionally, but i dont like to get drunk to the extent that i dont know what im doing. im more the type of person to have a few drinks and dance and talk, more of a social drinker really. Though there have been times when i do get paralettic to be truthful, normally at parties!! i like to have a bottle of wine on a quiet night in with a girl, but dont like to sit down and drink by myself. if i was on a night out with a girl, i would have a couple of drinks, but wouldnt ever get anywhere near tipsy. I believe that a man should look after his girl and make sure she is safe and happy, a man cant do that if hes under the influence of alcohol. im more of a romantic and a gentleman when it comes to being with a girl. i hope i dont sound boring??
- HolidaysI love travelling. I have been to a lot of countries around the world and a lot of cities. these are too many to include. i like meeting new people and sightseeing. i usually go on holiday with my friends, but if i had a girlfriend it would usually be just myself and her
- Petsi used to have a rottweiler dog, but i had to give him up when i joined the army, but im looking to get another pet soon
- Fav thingmy favourite possession has to be either my mobile phone, my video ipod, my laptop or my helicopter, though its not really mine, it has my name on it and only i can fly that certain helicopter lol
- Fav Placemy favourite place is a hard one to answer, there are a lot of places that i love. though if i had to choose it would be a close call between venice and paris.
- What's your favourite radio station ?I listen mainly to radio 1, chris moyles show in the morning, thats really the only time i listen to the radio really
- What's your favourite tv station ?if i could only have one tv channel it would have to be E4 or sky 1. that is because they hold my fav tv series. it would have been a music channel but then i realised i have the internet for music videos and my ipod for music! lol
- What's your favourite drink?beer wise it would have to be stella artois and spirit wise i like a vodka and mixer or jack daniels and mixer, though i am partial to a southern comfort and lemonade :-) i do like the occassional bottle of wine aswell
- What's your favourite food?I love any italian food at all as i said in one of my earlier columns
- What are your favourite activities?i go to the gym a hell of a lot!! i would rather be fit and healthy than be a fat sloth!! lol I must go to any major music festival, I have been to all glastonbury and leeds festival over the past 3 years. I like aviation activities ie flying, parachuting, skydiving and bungee jumping, so my job suits me to a tee with both the aviation and fitness side of things really!! I tend to go shopping a lot, and if i had a girlfriend, i would usually spend a lot of time with her and spoil her rotten!! lol I can cook aswell as was mentioned earlier
My attitude
- Family lifeI would like to settle down and get married one day, i think it is the ultimate way of expressing love and commitment to a girl. a big white wedding is a must!! lol and ive always wanted to be a father so i would definately like to have children in the future. But saying that, if i am with a girl that i love and loves me back, marraige isnt essential as long as i have her!!
- Jobs&Workingmy job means a lot to me, it has taken 7 years of A levels, a degree and training for me to get where i am today, so i wouldnt let it all go down the drain now! lol my job is more of a hobby really, i love the aviation side of things and the fitness side. i am a lieutenant at the moment but i would like to progress to higher ranks. once i get bored of my job though i will pack it in, there is no point in doing a job if u dont like it. however family and friends come before my job no matter what, so im not married to my job in any way! lol though i think u can tell from the earlier columns that i do really like my job!! (am i really boring??? lol)
- MoneyMoney isnt everything in life, I have money fair enough, but i would rather have my family and friends than have money, and i would rather have lots of friends than lots of money.
- PoliticsErm, politics is a big no no for any military associated person!! we get told what to do by the government and we do it, no questions asked or its prison for us boyos!! lol We dont even get to vote!! so i keep my nose outa politics and leave them to it! Though about us moving into the EU, im against it completely. U know, England, Home of the free, land of the brave!! we wouldnt be free if we were under european rule. and im strictly against the BNPs
